When you first start the car up it sounds like a power steering whine. Have you checked the fluid level? Also get inspected timing belt ?

Have the brake pads checked, if they are ok you may have a faulty wheel bearing.

I have a whinning noise what could that be 2007 king cab xe

It could possibly be your rear end/transfer-case/transmission/power steering. Where is the noise coming from and when does it mostly occur?

HAVE 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE,HAS LOW WHINING NOISE FROM LEFT FRONT. CHECKED BRAKES AND ROTORS AND ALL IS OKAY. DRIVES NORMAL AND DOES NOT SEEM TO BE BEARINGS. sTARTS AT ABOUT 20 MPH AND STOPS AT 50 MPH.OR...

the whinning noise is definalty a signiture of the bearing, and they do on occasion start making the noise long before other systoms of a bad bearing appear. There is really nothing else in the suspension that moves in a manner to cause the whinning pitched sound, other than the axel, but there signature has allways been a clicking around turns, so id definatly look cloesr at the bearings......good luck

Whinning noise coming out through my subs

Try using a bigger ground wire (#2 or #4) and as short as possible to the frame. Make sure the power wire (#8) is also ran from the battery as for away from any other electrical wire or from the alternator. Good luck and hope this helps, keep mepost5ed if you have any more questions. Be glad to help you get your Yukon sounding 100%.

Your transmission is not shifting into overdrive, it is staying in 3rd gear. I have the same problem.
