    Sounds like the injectors are over fueling.If you have a patulator filter fitted to your exhaust system common faut

White smoke coming from tailpipe during cold start from chevy trailblazer 2005 ls

You need to determine if it is indeed smoke or steam. Water condenses in your exhaust when it cools off, when you start it in the morning that water will turn to steam. If it is smoke, it will linger around longer than steam. Coolant in combustion chamber (head gasket) is the most common cause for white smoke. Unless it's an older vehicle with a transmission vacuum modulator with a torn diaphragm, most likely coolant. You can confirm coolant by pulling spark plugs, they will have a crusty whitish/gray build up on the end.

With smoke coming out of tailpipe p301

White smoke coming out of the exhaust on any gas powered vehicle is a sign that you have a blown head gasket allowing water from the cooling system to enter the cylinder, and when the piston comes up for combustion stroke and fires it turns the water to steam. This is also bad for allowing coolant to get in your oil, which anti-freeze in your oil will ruin the journals (Bearings) on the crankshaft (Major Engine Repair) costing several thousand dollars *NEW* !

I have white smoke coming from my tailpipe in my 01 chevy impala, also engine coolant is leaking on the right side of the radiator where a little white smoke comes out if the car is running for about 10...

I have an 01 Impala 3.8 engine. At first start-up white smoke is seen, smells like raw gas, and tail pipe is black as coal. Fuel milage isn't good either. Would the regulator be bad?

1996 jeep cherokee miss fires and white smoke from exhaust. replaced head gasket and still runs the same.. runs fine when cold.

White smoke is usually the sign of a blown headgasket. I would have the coolant system pressure tested before any serious damage is done.

Keep in mind this codes:
- Black is excessive fuel
- Blue is oil
- White is coolant

Then, if you see white smoke from the tailpipe, you have coolant escaping into the intake system.

I have a 1997 pontiac bonneville, it's running really rich (white smoke out of the tailpipe lightly) dies when it's at an idle. Changed the coil pack, no change.

If it is running really rich the color of the smoke out of the tailpipe would be dark grey or black. Some white smoke out of the tailpipe is normal in cooler weather until the vehicle engine warms up. Otherwise white smoke may be an indication of the engine burning coolant (cracked head, headgasket etc). I would take it to an auto parts store and have them scan the car's computer for codes. This is usually a free service. A code may be present even if the engine checklight is not on. A trouble code will make it easier to determine what is the cause of your problem. There are numerous things that can cause the problem you are having. Also knowing the mileage of the vehicle will help. Sorry that I am unable to help you more at this time.

89 chevy s10 blazer puff smoke out tailpipe when 1st started

A puff of smoke when you start up indicates worn valve seals.That's why all your work didn't fix the problem and it doesn't show a code. It's a pain in the --- job that requires some specialized tools so I guess it depends on how bad it bugs you,if oyu want to fix it.

White smoke from exhaust

Hello;
The white smoke is from coolant entering the combustion chamber(s). Coolant can enter through the water passages sealed bu the head gasket. You have probably blown a head gasket. You should check your coolant level. You may have acracked head if you continue to drive it and overheat. The temp gauge only reads when exposed to coolant, not air. Take out thhe spark plugs and look them over. A white glossy apperance will indicate water in the combustion chamber. You may need to surface the head once you have it removed so that it is flat. Hope this helps.
Thanks;

Smoke and water from tailpipe

That white color is a tell tale sign of a bad head gasket, when the head gasket goes your coolant mixes with your oil and the burns off causing the white smoke. I hate to give bad news but it's not cheap or easy to replace.

Hope this helps
