Question about 1994 Toyota Tercel
When it shifts into next gear it will lugg and chugg (slip?) at low rpms, at high rpms it shifts hard and goes into overdrive to early i think also cause chugging
Sounds like a vacuum issue possibly look over all your vacuum lines for dry-rot as well as any broken ones this will cause such an issue as well as many other areas to check could also be a stuck sensor
