I would suggest you work from a factory diagnostic manuals,I wouldn't even go to the vehicle the first time, without info on any system or problem All your saying is your not familar with the system & you you can't be,you need your reference material & wiring diagrams each & every time, so you have somewhere to start your testing
1ST double check that all the bulbs for the pass. side turn signals are working. if even one is out it can make the blinker not "blink". so compare the pass. side lights to the driv. side to make sure u did not miss something. NEXT,if thats not the problem, then u can locate the flasher by 1ST looking in the fuse box(probably inside the glove box or under the drivers side dash) theres a good chance it might not be there(years ago every car had the flasher in the fuse box) SO TURN ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BLINKER (key on) and LISTEN OR FEEL UNDER THE DASH FOR THE FLASHERS NOISE--LOOK NEAR THE STEERING COLUMN,BRAKE PEDAL, EVEN BEHIND THE ASH TRAY!! hope this helps you!
