It's an ivory or off-white color. It's located at the bottom of the radiator (you'll probably have to remove the splash guard to get to it). Another option for draining the coolant is to just pull the lower radiator hose. This is also one of the lowest points on the radiator and will allow for the purging of the coolant. Just make sure you take your radiator cap off otherwise it'll take a week (hyperboly) to drain.

SOURCE: Radiator Drain Plug Location 99 Astro

I have a 99 Astro & my drain plug is on the passenger side. Look for the small drain tube at the bottom of the plastic tank. The turn knob is right above it.

Where is the radiator drain plug on a 2008 ford expedition? I've been searching for an hour and can't find it. I also have a 2000 expedition and easily found the drain plug on the passenger side.

Did you look under it, at the bottom of the radiator
for an allen hex plug -- possibly

You know it is on the bottom,so why remove any
plastic covers on top, can't hardly work on that vehicle
anyway, it's so big & high up

You may have to remove bottom covers, to access the radiator

Did you try googling a picture?

I would leave the novice part out, as you should be able to
figure it out, given your experience

If you go to a parts site, you can see all sides of the radiator

Need to do your research, days before your going out
to work on vehicles

I have a gmc jimmy 1998 where is my radiator flush valve an how does it look like. I have never done this. But I think my radiator is clogged I want to clean...Please if I can possibly get a pick...

Your radiator drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator either on left or on the right side where lower portion hose attaches to the radiator. Sometimes in white in color and require an Allen wrench and sometimes have black spigot type drain that has some sort wing nut plastic valve.

Where is the radiator drain plug for a Pontiac Grand AM SE, 2.4L 4cylnder?

Typically they are on the drivers side. It will be a white plug with a 1/4 inch square notch in the middle.

I would not drain the radiator with the drain. They are known to break the o-ring and leak after wards. It is usually much easier to pull the lower hose and let the radiator drain that way.

Facing the front of the car, the drain plug is at the bottom of the radiator, right hand side, between the support rail and the radiator. There is a hole in the support rail to access this drain plug ( + ) style plug - unscrew counter-clockwise.

Where is the radiator drain on a 2001 chevy s -10 ?

It should be on the bottom tank of the radiator. The pitcock is usually dirty white in color and will come out by twisting counterclockwise. I suggest loosening the plug in small increments so that you can control the coolant flow as it drains and avoid making a mess.

Probably under the splash shield, it's an off-white colored plug, but you can remove the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant as well.
