Is the squeaking from the front or the back of the truck?

Do the squeaks happen when going over bumps?

Try pushing down on each of the four corners of the truck a few times and see if one corner is louder than another. This will help to isolate the source of the squeak.

Sealed joints, they are designed to be replaced when lube is needed. Ball-joints and tie-rod ends.

I had my tierods and rotors replaced on my car and now I hear a rubbing noise in the steering and alot of creaks under the car

There should be NO creaking noises coming from this repair of tie rod ends because they are supposed to be greased before the job can be called complete. There should be NO rubbing noises either from rotor replacement. Possible minute for a short period until the brake pads wear in to fit new rotors, but that shouldn't be noticeable. I would take the vehicle right back to the man that did your repairs and tell him the problem and ask him what he will do about it. From what I remember, OEM ball joints and tie rod ends are manufactured with NO grease fittings in them. They have to be drilled and grease fittings applied so they can be greased for longevity. Find out from your installer on this point. If there is no grease fittings, have them installed and greased. And new rotors normally would call for new brake pads also.

How do i grease the ball joints 1992 Nissan Sentra E

Here's a link to the lower ball joint,it tells you about a fitting to be greased,as you see the ball joint has a hole at threads where greasing fitting will be.It will be best to jack up and remove tire to grease, look for other grease fittings, wipe up excess grease. Also check ball joint for wear, may need replacing.

Does a 201 pontiac sunfire have grease fittings?

alot of these cars don`t have grease fittings from the factory as they are considered lifetime(permanent) greased components.however this doesn`t always work.if the components have at one time been replaced then they will have a grease fitting in them that needs to be greased.

Steering is sticking wheel will not return on its own already loosened adjustment screw still sticks car has been sitting 8 years

you need to remove the linkage from the tires in order to determine if a balljoint is binding and in need of replacement. Or jack the front end up and work the steering back and forth to see if it seems excessivly tigh. Grease everything you can if you have grease fittings.

Do I need to add a grease fitting for the Steering Rods?

those other components are sealed and supposedly do not require added grease. You are able to go to a part store though and purchase a grease needle to inject into the boot if you feel it needs it.

Squeaking steering column

Parts will get cheaper, that's what will happen. There are alot of companies that make the replacement parts. What you need to do is grease it not WD it. Pull the steering wheel and tighten everything up in there and grease where there's grease, use molygraph, it will last alot longer than WD. WD is a penetrant, not an all purpose lube. Wrong tool for the job.

I replaced the rotors and pads on my right hand drive Blazer and had the same problem ,dont worry in a couple of days normal running the pressure goes away and you dont get the heat problem.
Its just the new pads bedding in.
