strip out the heater control panel ,the knobs just pull off check that the control cable is attached to the heat selector if it is follow cable back to the heater box a check it is still connected to the flap control .two semi circular toothed components , the steering wheel controls may be a fuse so check fuse box under dash but if the heater cable has broken/pulled off this may just have dislodged the wiring connector to the wheel controls if both happened at same time let me know how you get on
a blown fuse usually means a short somewhere in the electrical system. It could be a worn component e.g. window winder or compressor or any other component that can short to Earth. Are you getting any codes from the dash, are any warning lights on?Regards
they always are on at the same time, the air temperature control blend door controls the outlet temp. It is broken or the electric motor that moves it is boken or both are defective which is the usual case,.
fuse ore light need replaced. Some time the lights arc and short each other out seen happen in all my Jeep and honda Check with the fuse for the light first then replace the lights if the fuse ok for the flashers Give me thumbs up please if this works
I aasume you mean blower motor for heater/a/c system.
Does it work on hgih speed only? If yes, replace resister.
Is this manual a/c or electronic?
Here is circuit for manual. check these three fuses first. 1, 17 & 10 in fues panel behind dash or kick panel by driver's knee.
If you have electronic, you may have a bad "blower motor speed controller". Get used at car-part.com. page with asterisk is lowest price. New at tascafordparts.com
i would try www.car-part.com its a nationwide junk yard inventory site theres some great deals there for domestic cars.try to replace the wire conectors at the compressor maybe the freon shorted them out.
could be number of things,a dashboard smack almost indicates a loose connection somewhere,if not that its either the blower motor itself going bad or the blower control module
