Question about 2007 Toyota Camry
There is a button marked ''ECO HEAT/COOL'' on the left side above my knee next to the gas cap release button. When I push it, ECO is displayed on the heat/ac screen but we cannot detect any changes. What does this button do? Thanks.
The ECO HEAT/COOL button of your hybrid functions to reduce the consumption of electricity thus, a reduction of fuel consumption. An indicator 'ECO' appears on the air conditioning display to indicate that the mode is on. Of course, with the ECO HEAT/COOL on it'll take longer than the usual amount of time for the temperature to reach its normal or standard set temperature.
Your ECO HEAT/COOL mode won't function if your temperature control is set at 'LO" or 'HI" or if the air flow is in the "floor/windshield mode" or "windshield mode".
Hope this helps.

I believe that the system then starts circulating the air from inside the vehicle and recooling it instead of outside air. I think. Hope it helps
