2002 Isuzu axiom ran fine last night. Got in this

all 4 dead , 4 corners?
and hazard switch turned on , too.
do the 2 lamps cluster fail tool Left/right turn?

check fuses first? marked ( turns, blinker/ signals/)?
most cars today have no such thing, (the old skool blinker modules are gone due to magic of BCM computer is just pure software loops)

im in the service manual on like and this chapter is missing(sadly)
under dash some where; guess driver side.

Check the thermostat is operating correctly, the cooling fan is turning etc

I am also working on a 2002 isuzu axiom with the 3.5 engine that also starts for a few seconds then shuts off and will not start back up i did an engine over haul on it, and the engine ran before i removed the engine, did you find the problem?

they had a lot speedometer clutster problem, maybe even covered under a warranty, contact the dealer.

if you speedometer is not working this is why you check engine light is on computer need this info to send proper amount of fuel to engine

Change throttle body. Fixed mine.

The little clamps on the hoses you will encounter must be bent and replaced with clamps that tighten with a flathead screwdriver.

You need to replace the speedometer gear that drives the sensor.

check engine light indicates that the computer in your vehicle has sensed a electrical problem pretaining to the performance of the engine usualy a diagnostic scan would determine the actual cause, vehicle has to be hooked up to a diagnostic tools.

I have the same vehicle, and it is usually caused by the gas cap being loose or not sealing properly. Double check and make sure that it is tight and the code will automattically reset itself. If this doesnt work, Schucks/AutoZone will give a free code check and let you know what it means.

quite often the engine check light is indicating an exhaust issue (not the pipe but in the engine) or a faulty oxygen sensor(s) I had a small rubber tube come off one of the sensors in my old Sedona once and after paying through the nose to get new sensors because the dealer said the diagnostic machine said they were faulty it was only weeks later when the issue had not gone away I discovered the pipe was off...
