Ive a Falcon Fairmont Ghia 04 after driving through a big puddle today the car stalled &went into limp mode something has got really wet can you help me please

All the electrical plugs should be weather pack plugs. this type of water and the low pressure of it, shouldn't get into them. If it was a lot of water, check the air filter. If it is misfiring, check spark plugs wires and or coil boots. which ever you have.

Only 3rd forward gear after going thru large puddle

If everything was fine before you went through the puddle ..
Get underneath the car and check all the electrical connections you can see on your transmission.

Depending on the depth of the water and speed you were doing, the surge of water may have affected a connection. Remove what wires you can see and clean them. Do the same with any electrical connections you can see around the brake areas.

Aveo stalling after going thru puddles

Don't drive thru puddles? Water gets on electrical components causing temporary stall state.

Drove through puddle - Battery light came on, temperature gauge all the way up, cold air blowing out of vents

Sounds like it may have blown a hose and you lost all the coolant. IT could also be that the puddle you drove through caused the head gasket to blow. At any rate, this is not going to be cheap.

I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L. About a couple of months ago, my dad did a tune-up on it: changed the spark plugs, the O2 sensors, and the fuel filter. However, recently my car has started...

is there a check engine light on when truck is running ? Does it stall when you hit bumps, only when you turn, stop ? ( my concern is the sometimes dont start.) for a minute or next day or what. Take it to a garage and have them do a fuel pressure test. Fuel pumps act up like this a couple times before they fail. if pressure checks good then i would check vacuum lines or wiggle all electrical wires for grounding which stalls car. AGAIN, GET THAT FUEL PRESSURE CHECKED before you start guessing and replacing everything.

Power steering went out while driving and battery

If the belt gets wet and flies off, or starts to slip, the power steering and alternator will stop spinning causing this condition.

Check belts to see if they are still on the truck and spinning the pulleys of the alternator and power steering pump.

pop off the distributer cap and dry it out well. Put it back on and it should work. This happened to my 97 jetta too...also if I go through large puddles at a quick speed this may happen too. There isn't good electrical contact with the moisture.

My Mazda 929 went through a water puddle and now it wont start

I agree with "emissionwiz". What probably happened was you hydrostatic-ally locked your engine. What happens is when you went through that puddle water got sucked into the intake and into the engine. Water being a liquid cannot be compressed and stalled the engine and most likely bent some internal components. If you can hear the starter click but the engine won't turn over you've got a 99% chance its a ruined engine. If you don't want to believe that try turning the engine over by hand (socket on crankshaft), you should be able to turn it, if not it's done for. Good luck and sorry about the misfortune but next time go very slow through puddles.
