No you may just be low on R134a and needs to have the a/c system recharged, but check the fuse to your a/c first. A certified a/c service garage will be able to know if you just need to have the system recharged or there is a problem in the system with hooking up gauges to the high and low side hoses. Good luck and keep me posted if you need more information, be glad to answer any questions yu may have.

Clicking noise on drivers side of the dash after the car has run and key turned off.

That car has an air compressor which pumps up the air shocks. the shocks may be shot. The hoses to the shocks may have a leak or the compressor its self may be the problem. My car all three were bad so I had air shocks installed that you pump up manually with a compressor or you can use an air pump at a gas station. Just a little thing below the license plate to put in the air. Only half the price and I pump them up every three months.

Air condidtioner blows but doesn't get cold; why?

if the system is in fact full, I would jumper across the low pressure cut out switch plug briefly to see if the compressor starts then. Probably the absolute safest way to check this switch would be to check it with an ohmmeter at the switch with the car not running. either way will verify the switch is or isn't the root cause of the compressor not running.

On my 1995 Lincoln Town Car the electric radiator cooling fan runs instantly and constantly when the Air Condidtioner is turned on. What part failure would cause this?

This normally what is supposed to happen. Switching on the Air Conditioning turns on all cooling fans so that there is constant air flow over the Air Con Condenser.

AC is not working properly

this first to do is check wiring to compressor clutch, when ac is not working check the ac clutch it should be engaged, test for power and ground at ac compressor clutch, you may have a bad wire to clutch or a bad compressor clutch,8226523.pngc97e168.giff41b56b.gif672ce29.gif

Suspension - back suspension makes car look like low rider

Number one reason the rear sags in a air suspension expedition is because of a 5 dollar or so relay. Their is a TSB addressing this issue with the relay being the fix

Number 2 reason is the compressor is bad.

Screeching noise, then a/c stops blowing cold air. Still blows air, just not cold air.

it could be the air conditioning clutch going out. to check turn your car on and idle it with ac on and hood open. at the ac compressor it will have a pulley on it with a clutch that engages when the air conditioning is on. if it engages and disengages it can be the clutch itself has gone bad, the ac clutch will also disengage if there is not enough freon in the ac system, will also engage and disengage if the pressure gets too high in the ac system. Depending on the year of the vehicle it will disengage at full throttle and come back on when you are not at full throttle.
If it is a metallic sounding screech for example take a coke can and drag it across pavement kind of sound it could be a bad compressor or a bad ac clutch. If it is a more rubbery sound for example a car spinning its tires kind of noise it could be a loose belt.

1. Check to make sure all belts are tight under hood
2. start car and look at ac compressor to make sure compressor pulley is turning and that the fan clutch is engaged spinning
