SOURCE: 2006 RAV4 V6 multiple cylinder misfire, VSC, check engine and sli

You need a scanner to pull out the engine light codes.
Use a shopu manual to aid you with the diagnosis and repair.
The slip indicator and vsc light being on means these systems are not working. Once you pull the codes and do the repair and erase the codes the lights will go off.
There will be a code in there for the misfiring.
Good luck and keep me posted.

Camshaft position sensor location 2000 Honda Accord

A camshaft position (CMP) sensor is typically only used as a reference for sequential fuel injection into the cylinders by the powertrain control module (PCM). Technically speaking, the 2000 Honda Accord doesn't have a CMP sensor, rather a cylinder position sensor (CYP). This should not be confused with the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) which is primarily used for ignition timing. There are also two different engine options for the vehicle being the 2.3L 4-cylinder engine and the 3.0 V6 engine. Sensor locations will be different for each option so it's important to first identify which engine is in the vehicle. The CYP sensor for the 2.3L 4-cylinder engine is located inside the distributor and is not serviceable; the whole distributor would need to be replaced. The CYP sensor for the 3.0L V6 on the other hand is located behind the left camshaft pulley on the timing belt back cover and is a serviceable part. I replaced head gasket on honda 3.0 engine now no compression and no start

bingo, hondas are all interference engines, (99%)
http://www.interferenceengines.com/honda.html

3.0L J30A1 V6 200 hp (150 kW)??????? this one?
SOHC V6

no compression on all cylinders????????? or just 1.
1: the valves were bent. at the belt snap?, (skipping 60k service !@)
2: you timed the cam wrong.
3 : The system uses the i-VTEC system to turn off one bank of cylinders under light loads
so maybe this feature is active? and you didnt check all cylinders for
compression? ???? try all 6 and post.
did you follow all steps in the FSM to do this job? y/n
or alldata.com ????

4: did you have the HLA valve lifters out. and not prime them? per FSM.
if you like this car, why not own a FSM. (or equiv)

never ever crank over any interference engine after any major work
(heads off, cam belt, change,or lost compression)
until:
1: you turn engine over by hand, sparks out.
2: then run a cyl. leak down test, first. on all 6
if not ,the 7 HP starter can in FACT bend valves.
that be Rule 1. (or $$$$$$$_)
