Where is injector relay located?

2001 Ford Expedition is not equipped with an "injector relay". The fuel injectors are supplied power by the Powertrain Control (PCM) Relay.

HINT: Check for battery voltage on the RED/LIGHT GREEN wire at any of the injectors with the key in the ON or RUN position. If battery voltage is present, the PCM relay is working.

In my 1999 ford expedition, I get code p1747 and it says in your page that it could be a selenoid. Is there a way to find out which selenoid it is?

Codes p1746 and p1747 are both related to the EPC electrical circuits. These codes are only generted by and electrical fault. Inspect the wiring connector at the transmission. You may have have to use a mirror to inpsect the connector on the transmission itself. Disconnect both the transmission connector and the pcm connector and check the white/yellow wire (pin 11 at trans connector and pin 81 and pcm) check this wire for an open circuit, shorts to power or ground. If the wiring checks ok the PCM driver for the epc has failed and the pcm will need to be replaced.

Good luck.

Where is the factory code located on a 2001 ford expedition?

The door code is on a tag on the keyless entry module that is underneath the instrument panel, to the LEFT of the steering column. This module has TWO wiring harness connectors plugged into it. I believe it is held in by one nut, and one bolt. On this module will be the FIVE digit keycode you are looking, on a decal. There will also be another number that looks similar to a 1L3T-14000-XXX type number. The FIVE numbers will be your keycode

Used pcm/ecm for a 2001 Ford Expedition

If you replace an ecm then you now have a security violation in the vehicle which can only be corrected by the dealer.

Bad Computer

You should be able to perform that task without much difficulty. The PCM is located beneath the dash on the passenger side behind and above the kick panel. You'll have to remove the battery and tray to access the PCM connector harness. There will be a small bolt running through the connector attaching it to the PCM that you'll have to remove. Once that's remove you can unclip the PCM from the inside and pull it out from under the dash. If you are replacing it, you'll have to take note of the calibration number on the sticker on the driver's door or door jamb. This number is required to program,or flash the new PCM. Hope this helps.
