I've got a 1993, it's located in the right rear quadrant of the engine compartment, next to the firewall about half way down.

My 94 geo prizm sputters and jerks during accleration. I have replaced the fuel filter and pump, distributor cap and rotor and plugs and wires and still have the problem. Any ideas?

for that cost you could have taken it to a mechanic and had the compretion tested, that is what needs to be done. at least 90psi and all cyliders sould be within 15% to that.

1994 Geo Prizm LSI running one day won't crank next day

turns over and crank are the same thing,
so you are saying it does crank over but no start, right?
you need to determine if you have at least 50psi of fuel pressure in fuel rail at reed valve.

Replace Fuel Filter

For a 1994 Geo Prism with the 1.6L, the fuel filter is located on the drivers side of the fire wall. it is directly below the brake master cylinder bolted to a black bracket. You will need a 14mm wrench to disconnect the fuel line from underneath by the drivers front wheel, a 17mm to remove upper fuel line, and a 10mm to remove the fuel filter from the bracket by the fire wall on the drivers side. i have found it to be much easier to attach the lower fuel line before attaching any other bolts/lines.
