Question about 2003 Chevrolet Impala
Find the ac lines off ac compressor and follow the large ac line till u come to the service port ,this is it,use store bought charge hose and freon ,pretty simple but do put to much in need anymore advice email@example.com

You need to follow the ac lines from the ac compressor to the ac condensor to the fire wall behind the engine where it goes to the heater box.There are two connections,both at differant locations,a low side that has a screw on red or blue cap with the letter L on it and a high side with a cap that has the letter H on it.The refridgerant goes into the low side.Hope this helps.

You found the high side port. The other line should have the low side and if it is not on there it might be at the AC evaporator which is a cylinder shape made of aluminum. The cap will have a L on it not a H. Do not force it on the high side.
