Question about 2006 Honda CR-V

Open Question

Cannot listen to ipod. cd and radio work fine but the audio output from tape deck sounds "buzzing & scratchy" to the point where it seems like the speakers are going to pop. I've tried cleaners for the tape deck but to no avail. Strangely, after a month of not using the tape deck, it played a cassette tape flawlessly for one side of the tape and then after it switched sides, the problem reoccured & it applies to all cassette tapes and ipod cassette tape deck adaptor. PLEASE HELP! Thank you.

Trying to find out why no sound comes out of speaker in my 2006 grand caravan. Radio, CD and tape player work just fine. There is no sound??

Unscrew the suspected speaker and use a DVOM to check that values are correct or???......Check for juice at the + terminal of speaker with radio on,probably a open circuit, check your grounds....It is possible the output is completely fried;will appear that everything is okay, but no output......

Is it possible to install a 3.5mm headphone jack input from an ipod directly into the car stereo? I don't want to use an fm transmitter. My '04 Mazda3 comes with the 6-disc cd changer but no tape deck or...

I have a 2003 Mazda MPV that has the stereo that you could add a cassette deck or MD to...I do not have either, but there is a button for it. I found a guy on the internet that made a chip that plugs into the back of the radio and has a 3.5mm jack on it that will play when you push the cassette/md button on the radio. It is great....sounds just like one that came from the factory.

CD PLAYER WORKS BUT THE RADIO WONT PLAY

There is a problem with the audio output circuits of the radio. The easy way to fix it is to buy an aftermarket radio or get a used radio from a salvage yard or eBay.

Cannot play ipod on 2000 malibu using tape adapter. malibu has cd player and remote tape deck

Instead use a radio adaptor where you would set you radio to a particular channel. The adaptor emits a signal correspondent to that radio signal and allows you to listen to your iPod.

2000 escort - tuner does not work but CD and TAPE are fine

most likely is the radio itself- typical ford radio... best bet is look in a junkyard for a new radio- there are no fusible links- there usually is just one 10amp fuse in the inside fusebox. but if the cd& tape players work it is in the stereo itself. hope this helps and good luck

Acura legend radio

Sounds like the speaker is blown - factory speakers are usually pretty cheaply made and not very high quality, so even normal listening volumes can destroy them - you don't have to crank the radio to blow them. If the speaker is on the rear deck, it may be accessible from inside the trunk - take a look there and see if it unbolts.
