My 98 tacoma squeaks when i turn the wheels

Grease the Ball Joints, three per side (upper control arm, lower control arm, steering tie rod. if there aren't any grease zerks, its time to replace your ball joints. You can do this yourself with the parts from AutoZone or O'Reilly or Napa. I suggest you rent the ball joint tool as it will make your work a lot easier.

My cars done about 230km. should i think about selling it or can it still take more. abit squeaky when turning (maybe pitman arm) and maybe needs some new plugs or fuel injection cleaning.

Being that its an Expedition I wouldn't think about selling it. If its squeaking when its turning all you need is a good grease job. Get a shop to grease all the joints in the front end. The pitman arm, idler arm, ball joints and tie rods. You can even spray a little WD 40 on the shock to make it smoother when extending. Those motors are very nice, and I wouldn't sell it. I had an F150 with the same motor but I had about 320k miles on it before I sold it for a diesel.

Grease points on ford focus 2001

Motor vehicles do not have grease points anymore. (Except fpr wheel bearings and CV joints). All other joints and moving parts are sealed or are nylon type joints. That is one thing you no longer need to worry about.

How do I replace left front lower ball joint

i assume its a twin i beam, so remove tire , brake calipers and secure, remove splash shield and cotter pins at ball joints and tie rod, remove holding nuts and peparate tie rod then spindle assembly, a ball joint separator works here, then remove c clip holding ball joint and press out (need a ball joint press here), press new joint in ( tip , stick it in the freezer for an hour or so) then reassemble front end

I need to change the lower ball joint on my 89 f150 4x4 how do i do it

remove brakin system(caliper pads rotor) then disconnect outer tie rod, remove cotter pins on both ball joint nuts and remove nuts, then separate hub from i-beam, on the bench remove spring clip holing ball joint and press out, press in new joint and install hub in reverse order of dissassembly, apply grease to axle regrease bearings and caliper sliders, you will need a ball joint separator and a ball joint press, use new cotter pins

1993 f-150 4x4 very hard to turn to the right. I've replace the steering box, pump, and front axle u-joints. When it's off the ground it steers easy. Back on the ground, Hard??

Either ball joints or alignment come to mind.
Ball joints will often bind and grab in one direction but not necessarily in the other, when they are really bad.
You don't notice it jacked up because the control arms pivot down to put you on a different location on the ball joint.
You should be able to see which side and whether upper or lower, by seeing the pressure causing flex and jerks.
Although it is usually either one with a rubber rip or the lowers.
But alignment can do it also, especially of jacked up.
The camber or caster can be too great on one side, where turning the steering has to lift the whole truck up on one side more than the other, or it can strongly pull to one side.

Sqeeky steering gear box??? how do i fix it??? Other than buying a new one.

Thats not common. Are you sure it isn't a tie-rod end or a ball-joint. Ford are real common for having squeaks when you turn the wheel from the ball-joints.

I get a squeaking noise when i turn the steering wheel right or left. replaced struts, and stablizer link rod on 2001 ford escape

I have a 2002 Escape V6. I had a squeak when turning... even when standing still. It was fairly low mileage: 40,000 miles?
It was the outer tie rod. You could feel it squeak in your hand while someone else turned the steering wheel.
I disconnected the tie rod. I wasn't worn, just squeaky. I squirted a little WD40 inside the boot, and worked it in. Reassembled and squeak gone.
I bought a replacement tie rod, but never had to put it on. I'm now at 110,000 miles.

1999 f-150 squeak in suppension

Check the ball joints and steering linkage for wore out parts. Jack the truck up and move the tire back and forth to see if it wobbles and watch the upper and lower ball joints. You can do the same with the steering linkage by moving tie rod ends up and down to see if they pop up. Everything should be tight with little or no play at all.
