Pull the valve body & clean it

After that, you will have to change the
proper solenoid & as far as I know, they
can not be had individually yet, should be
soon, as that vehicle has been made for 10 or 11 years

The only difference in your 05 & my 2014 frontier, is the
tcm module on mine, is up in the trans fluid & yours is outside

Google the question & see what turns up

Lots on the internet & You Tube Video,I bet the answer
is in many places on how to solve that

SOURCE: When traveling between 35-55 mph. my pathfinder

You got a problem a sense on the accerlator .Or on the air intake senser. If it's not that I would put gas cleaner in the tank. That would be the cheaps thing to try. Buy your gas at walmart and in the insle that has the tech gas cleaner and buy it there ,it will install it has you pump.

SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Pathfinder has a rough shift when

Hello you will need transmission repairs sometimes when a filter and fluid is changed when a scheduled maintenance has not been followed by owners manual you might have trouble as you do believe it or not sometimes when you exceed the suggested service millage you better off just to leave it and do not service or you can experience trouble as you are having. My solution is take your vehicle in to a transmission specialist you will need a hoist to determine the extent of your repair you might have to rebuild your transmission.

SOURCE: my 2005 nissan pathfinder 4x4 SE V/6 shudders

This is known problem with Nissan pathfinder. There is no actual recall called by the Nissan service center. But this problem is faced by many other Nissan pathfinder users too. ------------- The reason for this problem transmission failing.-------- First get the transmission fluid inspected. If it its dirty then replace the transmission fluid.------- In this problem the radiator fluid fails into the transmission, causing both the radiator and transmission to fail. The antifreeze to observe traces of transmission fluid. Checking the transmission fluid, the fluid gets darken and above the high-level mark for the fluid level. ------------- The problem occurs due to radiator getting failed, leaking coolant into transmission which required both to be replaced. Transmission failure is an obvious safety issue for many reasons. The loophole appears to be that since the failure is due to the radiator, anything relating to the transmission is null and void.--- ----------- Click this link below to get more details about this same problem faced by other nissan pathfinder users:--- http://howtobyme.blogspot.com/2011/08/nissan-pathfinder-shudders-around-60.html ---------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

SOURCE: 1993 pathfinder w auto trans wont shift out of second gear.it does shift in overdrive mode?

It must be giving you a code as to what is going on here. It sounds like you have a bad silenoid to me. It will be inside ya trans on the valve body. Check and see what codes are comming up on it.

Milky antifreeze but car accelerate just fine only at 20 mph it shifts...

You should go right away to a nissan dealership. Your Trans cooler may be mixing your coolant and transmission fluid. After time your transmission will start shifting hard or have a delayed shift. you could also drain some trans fluid out yourself and see if it looks like your coolant. It will look pink and possibly foamy.

My kia rio 2005 overdrive not working properly, sometimes stays in 3rd gear running at 50 or 60 mph...help please

get car scanned-cud be a stuck shift solenoid caused by bad or low fluid--also older trans have worn parts like clutches or a # of other things-may just need an ajust on the line pressure or throttle cable

My 1997 pathfinder has no power from 0-45 mph. Then it is still lacking acceleration.

do you feel it shifting. that sounds as if your transmssion is in fail safe which locks the trans in 3rd gear and if so you should be able to pull codes out of the engine with a scan tool or go to aurtzone and they will pull the codes for free.

Car will not shift into overdrive

As a response to solution #1 these cars do have an overdrive while in D-4, mine was shifting in and out at 70 mph until it finally quit and the rpm is now 3100 at 70 mph insted of 2700. The car still shifts 4 full times just not the fifth-OD. I still can't find out what fixes this problem either.

1996 Corolla Auto Transmission problem

Hi. 2005 Corolla CE. It's normal. They tend to do this when upshifting form 1st to 2nd gear. No timing chain readjustment needed.

96 Corolla. Overdrive not working properly, if not engaging after 45mph constantly. If driving on the city, is normal, but not after 45mph, when the car is trying to engage overdrive in order to save gas and preserve the trans gears. If not able to get help at the dealership, find another one and explain them the situation.
