Question about 1999 Dodge Durango
I had the same problem, the "Clock Spring" in the steering wheel was the problem. Dodge Caravans were recalled for the exact same problem.

1999 Durango has been starting fine, this morning after starting and travelling about 6 mi. and stopping and turning off for 5 min. would not re-start. Acts as if not getting fuel. has 197000. I know the fuel pump may a possibility, what other possibilities

Disconnect the plug to the horn then install a new fuse if the fuse does not blow out replace the horn. Do the reverse if the fuse does not blow out to the cruise. if the cruise is blowing fuses the unit may be seized up somewhere maybe the cable or actuator is corroded.
