Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Example: I drive back and forth every day an hour each way on the interstate, After stopping to get a cold drink, the vehicle starts but then shuts down like it is starving for fuel. This has been going on now for several months. I noticed yesterday that after driving home, that if I allowed the vehicle to cool down for 30 mins. it started right up. Could this be the engine coolant temperature sensor? Could be the thermostat? The vehicle runs great, seems to operate just fine mechanically. Love my Jeep but she seems to be getting tempermental!
You said it's runs fine, but it just won't start after driving a while. If thermostat or temp sensor was bad you'd be overheating. It sounds like a vapor lock. Good luck
