Fuel will destablize as it sits. Try draining the old fuel and putting a little new fuel into it, or add a bottle of Seafoam or Sta-bil to it, this might help it do begin starting. You can also try to spray your plugs with starting fluid to see if that will make your engine turn over. If this works, and it runs for a little bit, it should start mixing the stabilizer and gasoline. If you use Seafoam, it will also clean your fuel injectors.

My approach would be to check the fuel pressure coming to the fuel rail. It's possible the fuel line itself could get clogged. I know gasoline can turn into a varnish and clog up injectors, etc. Good luck.

Will a bad pick up coil stop a 1999 dodge Durango from cranking

It wouldn't stop the engine from turning over while trying to start. But it can make engine not start or run poorly

My 99 durango will start up but u have to give it gas to stay running same when pulling down in gear

Change the gas filter. If car sat for 2 years without being started, the gas could be stale Put fuel system cleaner in gas tank. The car may need a double dose.

Have a 1999 Dodge Durango, the vehicle shut itself off while parked, I tried jumping the vehicle and it will not turn over, The dislay reads "no Bus" what does that mean?

if you let vechicle set battery will run down.not in month time frame, if you going let it set either crank vechicle let idle keep battery charged or disconnect battery if vechicle going to set for long time period,i would keep battery charged up using battery charger.

99 dodge durango 5.2 liter I turn the key to start engine and starter keeps turning over, even when I take the keys out. I have to disconect the battery to stop the starter Whats my problem?

The starter solenoid could be stuck in the engage position or the solenoid is energized all of the time due to defective start switch/key cylinder.

Check the thermostat, and clean or replace the idle air control valve, replace the ball joints, replace the plugs and plug wiresthis should correct the problem.

Cant get ball goints to last longer than a month on a 99 durango they pop extremly loud and it wears tires out bad and thoughts on how to fix ball joint problems and i have tried many brands and many times...

Not trying to critique, but it sounds like they're not being installed correctly, and the front end alignment being done, is not correct.

(The front end is being aligned, after the ball joints are installed, RIGHT?)

1999 dodge durango v-8 magnum oil has caked up inside motor

Common problem with these engines. Probably has a slight coolant leak at a head gasket causing this problem. Recommend to install reman engine you will save time and money compared to overhauling existing.

My 99 dodge durango keeps on turning off!!

its not the battery ... its the computer overheating... mine does too... here is the quick fix for when it happens... as far as ive found there is no perminant fix....
there is a grouping of wires in the engine over the right front tire going to the computer... if you wiggle those till you hear a click in the fuse box on the other side of the engine.. you can start it right up... replacing parts probably wont help.. it sucks i know.. its just dodge. after you get it started up turn on the heat in the vehicle and if its hot outside roll down the windows... the temp will start to come back down ... faster driving speeds will help keep it cool too. stop and go is no good
