The plugs are underneath the black cover that says Volvo just behind your oil filler cap. It is held in place by 8 #30 Torx screws.

The petrol filter is underneath the car, just forward of the rear tire on the passengers side on the left hand drive models, and the right drivers side of the right hand drive model.

Volvo C70 Problem

You will have to provide more information, what year / engine size / fuel type (I assume petrol as you're stating there are spark plugs). Also what was done when the engine was rebuilt, and why didn't the garage that did it check the engine was running before handing back to you?

If you did the work, please list what works were done and what was replaced.

If it is a modern Volvo you may find that, as with many modern cars, sensors that are replaced need to be linked with the ECU before use. If they are not then their input is ignored by the ecu.

Where are the spark plugs located? Also where is the loation of the fuel filter/

if this is a petrol variant then petrol filter should never need changing unless its corroded and an external fitting ,most modern vehicles have a gauze filter inside the tank anyway,Now the spark plugs are under the plastic cover on the top of the engine with a coil pack on each spark plug and the gap should be 25th but some manufacturers specify a wider gap because they use a higher voltage spark than the old classic cars from my day but 25th is not far out for 99% of vehicles

I've code p430 and p1000 and it said something about air gas controller

Catalitic converter mailfunction. Possible causes: - catalitic conv. mailfunction - o2 sensor mailfunction (ECU generates p430 from converter pre and post sensors data) - misfire; bad quality petrol, bad spark plugs, bad ignition coils (misfire means cat conv able to burn out without quick repair) - low fuel pressure: petrol filter needs replace, fuel pump needs replace - hole in exhaust system (sensors are ok, but measure wrong flow)

check air filter, spark plug condition, carburator cleanliness and timing belt. Timing may need to be adjusted, especially if timing belt was replaced.

It's located in the fuse box under your hood. Should be near the fender wall or the firewall

Engine chugging

Sounds right. Either Coil pack(s) or MAF sensor. Buy one and swap it out until you find bad COP (coil on plug). Each spark plug has one and there is not really a good way to test under stress. MAF sensor is just past the intake air filter. You can buy a spray at the auto store to clean this, which may help. Don't touch the sensor itself (ith your finger) as this will ruin it. Just soak it with the spray.
