Question about 1998 Lexus Gs 300

Had a new compressor installed at shop, problems w codes!

My car is STILL sitting in hickville at shop. New compressor put on but shop owner said he still gets two bad codes. I confronted him, I asked did you call LEXUS? and he gave me the run around and he says he didn't call and doesn't like to deal with them. The new compressor works but the codes come back bad an there fore the ac wont work. I'm very frustrated what should I so?
Could this be just their lack of knowledge to get my AC up and running???

The car is in HICKVILLE......LOL

Have a 1988 Lincoln Town Car, have put in new A/C compressor, new drier, new condenser, new hoses, new evaporator & full of freon. But compressor want cycle, what could be my problem???

If the compressor wOnt cycle, it means that the pressure is not correct. How much freon, (and what type) did you put in, and did you PULL DOWN (with vacuum) the system to about -29 inches before putting the freon in? Did you use manifold gauges? If so, what is the high pressure, and what is the low pressure, at what ambient temperature?

How to change a ac compressor

Have an A/C shop to discharge the refrigerant from the system before starting to remove the compressor.

Remove the serpentine belt
Remove the a/c hoses from the rear fo the compressor (usually one bolt).
The compress is held onto the engine by 3 or 4 bolts. Remove these bolts.
Remove the compressor.

Be sure to put the recommended amount of PAG oil into the new compressor before installing it on the vehilce.

Have the a/c system evacuated, checked for leaks and recharged by a professional a/c technician.

A/c compressor

Did you have system totally flushed out then vaccumed? If not then your ac compressor is damaged again.

did the trans come with the proper fluid(recommended by Chrysler) and level. was the whole system flushed? Reused sensors could be an issue if one or more is faulty.

Try Buying a new Battery. The ECU or engine control module should reset itself and codes should be cleared once it recognizes there is constant power. Clean battery connectors with a wire brush , smear a dab of dielectric grease on the connectors as well as the battery posts to prevent corrosion. Good Luck!!!

In a 1995 cirrus, where is the air compressor located and is it hard to fix?

it should be on the front side of the motor where the belt is and it is recommended that a shop evacuate the system. but then you can remove compressor and flush the system with compressed air then add pag oil and new compressor, then go back down to shop and have vacum test and freon added. it is alot cheaper.

How to replace ac compressor for 2001 chrvy tahoe?

take the serp belt off, remove the 4 bolts on top. remove the bolt holding the lines. unplug the plug on the back of compressor. remove compressor. drain oil out into a measuring cup. use a snap ring pliers and remove the senor. with new compressor install the old sensor. drain the oil out of new comp. there should be a total of 7 oz pag 150 a/c oil. add to new oil until there is 7 ozs. put back into comp. install back into car in the same order. when done go to a shop and have them charge the system. tell them what you did so they don't add any more oil into it. change the dryer at the same time. don't oil it. no warranty if you don't change it. best of luck
