Question about 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser
I have a 92 that does the same. Just put the key in and turn it to on without starting, then turn off the alarm switch to the left of instrument panel. Turn off the key and that should do it.

SOURCE: Whenever i unlock my camry
this is due to a bad switch in the drivers door, when you use the key to unlock the door it should shut down alarm, also the alarm module may be going bad, the alarm is setting itself on, when ever you lock the door the alarm turns on, you will need to replace the switch on the drivers door or unlock the passenger side door that also has a switch that disarms it, the switch is on the lock itself, thats the problem you are having , good day,

sounds like either your battery is dead in the remote or it "lost its memory". We've had them in the shop before where all we do it reprogram them and they work again.
