Problem for Chevrolet 2003 Suburban 1500

Engine dies at freeway speeds

I had a similar problem last year with my 2003 Suburban, after taking it to the dealer and on their recommendation replacing a crank shaft sensor the problem still persisted. I then took it to an independent mechanic and he discovered it was the fuel pump. I have put 20,000 miles on it since the fuel pump has been replaced without any further problems.
