Code comes up as #2 miss fire P03002 on m 2002 envoy 4.2 engine changed the plugs and cleaned the throttle body changed fuel filter also . all this needed it. it runs worse now than what it did still #2 miss fire now it feels like the cylinder is dead What can it be???
Check the ignition coil for that cylinder

ck if you have spark at the coil for that cylinder. check the plug wire closely. if it has spark at the coil, then replace all the spark plug wires.

sounds like a bad injector, just connection at the injector, also check for leaks at intake, one more thing , do a compression test on that cylinder start there, good luck.

do a compression check on the engine, and replace the bad sensor, i take the throttle body off to clean it and some sensors are touchy about cleaner, i fear maybe something got on the egr valve pintle

if this truck has an o2 sensor i would replace that and also make sure the cat-converter is not plugged,this would give you your powerloss and egr code,next is your coil,this may be caused by the computer or your crank sensor,look at the tone ring that the crank sensor uses and make sure its not missing teeth or broken,also check all your fuses.
