Question about 2006 Kia Optima
My 2006 kia optima has repeatedly had the airbag indicator light go on and stay on, then the check engine light will come on. The first time it happened I took it in and had it fixed (and waited 8 hours because they couldn't find the problem wire, which turned out to be under the driver's seat) and within 6 weeks was on again and stayed on since. I want to know how to repair this myself, and have done several electrical system repairs on cars myself in the past.
My advise to you is not to attempt a repair to the airbag system yourself. The airbag module can be set off by static electricty & goes off with the force of a shotgun blast
