This could be the brake pads dragging or it could be a wheel bearing. You can check one or the other. The wheel bearing is tested by jacking up the car with that wheel off the ground and see if you can rock the wheel side to side or up and down. The way to check the brakes is to take the wheel off and look at the brake pads.

Testimonial: "well it not really a grinding noise its more like its hitting something but i dont see anything."

Grinding noise when making right turns.

CV joint. Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

Probs with 2001 elantra h/back. Noise from r/side when driving.

Sounds like a bearing packing up. Could be a siezing alternator, which would put enough of a strain on the engine to make it cut out. Does the pitch of the noise increase with speed?
