Hi, you can get this sensor in any car parts shop, if they don't have one they can order, it will be a bit cheaper than dealer. Depending on engine type and size the sensor is situated in different places. With a bit more information from Auto Data or Google you should be able to identify where. Changing is easy and does not require garage.

SOURCE: Peogeot 307 suspected faulty reversing light switch.

The reverse light switch is located on the transmission housing which is behind/under the air filter housing/battery on the 2.0 litre D turbo model. To replace it you will need to remove the top of the air filter housing and the filter (2 screws plus release the air intake pipe connected to it by a large jubillee clip, also unclip a couple of cables). To remove the switch disconnect the cable clipped to it. You will need a deep 22mm socket and a universal/flexible coupling to unscrew the switch (as access is poor unless you remove the battery compartment/air filter housing).

SOURCE: Oil pressure sensor light comes on and oil level is fine

This is probably an oil pressure sensor problem.  Randomly going from 0 to over 130 is means the sensor is putting out out of range signals.  Mine would even read --- at times.  I told the mechanic to not spend any time troubleshooting just change the sensor.  $121 including parts, labor and tax.  The gage should read about 70 psi plus or minus several psi, and move up a PSI or two as you rev up the engine.  It took him about 10 minutes to change it, once he got the part.  There would have been a diagnostic charge of about $50, had I not been sure.

SOURCE: 2005 Audi A4 2.0T oil sensor warning

These engines had an issue with the oil pick up sceen getting clogged this may be the case. If so the oil pan would have to come off and either replace or clean the screen. It would also be recomended to flush the oil system with an oil flush kit. BG makes an additive that works pretty good.

SOURCE: "when do i change the cam belt on a peugeot 307 sw diesel"

usually you should do it for peugeot diesel at 122000 miles along with water pump and the tensioner roller that runs under the cambelt too. But to be on the safe side do it at 100000 and save the fortune.
It took me (DIY job) about 6-8 hours as i wanted to save 450 pounds.

Red warning light staying on

That can be a small problem like a loose wire or a sensor that is out.. sometimes if a warning bulb is out on dash it will send a signal to the engine light to illuminate.. if its blinking that isa major problem.. sometimes even getting oil changed or leaving a gas cap open or broken can cause the llightto go off. Is there any symptoms associated with the blinking light?

I have a vw caddy van 2.0 litre sdi,an recently the orange oil low level warning light has come on,the oil level is fine,I have replaced the oil sensor switch bolted to the engine an still the light stays...

I would recommend that you change the oil sending unit. When the oil sending unit is faulty, or simply clogs up, it will trigger the oil light because the engine is not registering enough oil pressure.
I hope that you have found this information to be useful, and if I can be of any further assistance, please let me know. Thank you for using fixya!

Engine warning light on dash

Possible that the oil pressure is low , the oil level is low or the oil pressure switch has failed.
Check level of oil, check for pressure of the oil to the sensor -swap and test and finally check for error codes to confirm the case.

Peugeot 307 2.0 hdi 90bhpand its blowing smoke.

yes, yes, and no.. Idea: Have your oil pressure checked with a reliable gauge. If oil was low and you turned, maybe the oil pickup just couldn't get enough momentarily.
I would think you could do it yourself. Look at how many young kids work on turbos in their dad's garage.
Instructions? I don't know, but here's a possibility: Google Peugeot and find an enthusiasts forum for your car. There must be one or more for every car make by now. The good ones have lots of helpful guys who like to help other diy'ers. Good luck.

if your foult is driver side airbag and it is not blown out, you should check "clock spring" wires behind steering whell.
if foult is driver side belt tensioner, check conector underneeth driver seat.
on the end erase foult/s with diagnostic equipment.
