I have a 202 dodge intrepid just put new ratiator and water pump has been sitting for a year overheating only fluides coming frcontainer that i put water in

Watch the water in the radiator without the cap on while the engine is running. If you see bubbles then a head gasket is blown. If you don't see water moving rapidly, then the thermostat is stuck closed.

98 740il bmw water leaking from back of engine and i can't see where its coming from

probably a hose, take it to a mechanic and ask if you can get it pressure tested. They will put a cap on your radiator and pump air through it and the water with run through and leak where there is a problem

Coolant leaks

the type of water put in should not cause a leak. usually if there is a leak it can come from a split hose, a cracked or damaged antifreeze reservoir or a leaking radiator. try and use a leak "finder" an autoparts store may have one. pour the "finder" in and it usually turns the coolant and water a bright color. if you see it oozing out anywhere you might just ahve damaged parts

Small coolant leak at front of engine hose area, not always maybe 1 out of 5 times driving to work.

If you can narrow down where the leak is coming from, it will be easier for you to fix, but it is most likely either a minor radiator leak, or your water pump. You can put a can of radiator stop leak in your vehicle, such as bars leak. It wont hurt anything. If the leak continues, and appears to be coming from the engine area, the water pump is failing, but also check around the thermostat housing, near where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine

Engine running hot, water leaking out of engine

The leak can be coming from anywhere there is coolant in the system. the most common place for a leak on those engines is the water pump, Fallowed by the heater by pass hose. Sometimes the hose falls out of its holder and the fan rubs a hole in it.
You will need to find the leak and report back so we can try and assist you on the repair.

I have to keep putting water in my car

IF the leak solution was for the radiator then you may have holes in locations you are nit aware of or it may not be enough and you may need to have the radiator replaced. You may want toc heck the radiator cap if it still seals properly as steam may escape from it where it should be recycled back to the cooling system. Check the clamps of the hose and if there are water leaks from the engine which may indicate bad water pump. If you have white smoke coming out of the exhaust you may also have to have the head gasket checked out as you may be burning coolant.
