Question about 1990 Ford F150

My 1990 ford f150 will not start because no gas is getting to the engine i replaced the fuses but it still wont get gas i dont here the fule pump when the key is terned on how do i fix this problem.

Locate the fuel pump and see if you can hook a 12 volt source (car battery) directly to it if the pump turns on you know that the pump is not getting power if it does not turn on you know you need a new fuel pump

i would remove the fuel line at the carb and crank the motor and see if there is fuel going to the carb if not check the fuel pump and see if it is getting any gas

What is the fuse location for fule pump on a 99


The fuse for the fuel pump relay normally open contacts is, Engine compartment fuse panel, Fuse # 10

first off check wires to fuel pump with a light tester if you are getting power then you may have ECM or faulty pump or crossed wires

Check the power supply going into the fuel pump relay. If it is still hot when the ignition is off then your ignition switch is probably the problem.

I think you called it a fuel shut off switch. It is under the dash on the passenger side. Your initial post said the button was not up but I have seen them go bad and not pass voltage even in  the down position.
