Usually the CD slides and locks into a CD bracket for easy removal. There is a special tool for doing this. Look for two small holes on each side of the CD maybe you can insert something small and round into each hole to unlock the CD player from the bracket. Re: I need to know how to remove the CD player on my 2000...
No tools needed. I swapped mine out myself. You removed the trim that's around the dash by putting the tilt wheel in the lowest position. You then just "unsnap" the radio from the mounting bracket and unplug the wires....then reverse. Your done!

Your front trim plate that goes around dash from drivers sidde to radio just snaps off use a flathead screw driver to pry. put shifter all the way down in 1 to gain clearance. 7 mm screws hold the radio in place remove disconnect wires and go

Might be your power distribution center under the hood. I have ran into issues where bad connections caused excessive heat around the fuse and relay contacts and actually melted spots in the box. Remove the back cover and look for melted or discolored spots.
Sounds like you need a front axle actuator. This actuator bolts to the side of the front differential housing. It is electrically engaged. You can purchase them online starting at about $40
Loosen differential cover and let oil drain. Remove cover, remove U lock from axel. Pull axel out. Remove bearing seal then bearing. Install new bearing, seal and reinstall axel. Reinstall U lock and new cover gasket. Fill with 75-90wt gear oil. Now I know that sound pretty straight forward. But there are some things to remember. The U lock can be difficult to remove sometimes. The most important thing is the seal, you will need to make sure it gets seated correctly and not torn when installing axel.
hmmm... I wish you knew what the tool could be.
