Relieve fuel pressure green cap under hood like tire valve stem then get special fuel filter release tool and slop it over fuel line and slide it into filter the line will then just pull off

Where is the fuel filter location for a 1996 crown victoria

It's front of the driver's rear tire, usually. If not,it'll be on the other side of the car.
Turn off the key and remove.
Open hood and release fuel pressure at the rail with the schrader type valve.
Don't use a bulb type trouble light under there as it can ignite gas easily.
Pry off the old clips after loosening the hold-down clamp. Turn head away as you slide off the hose on the tank side of filter.
Install new filter in holder, attach hoses and install new clips then tighten hold-down clamp. (:^)

My car has a new motor, coils plugs and wires but it doesnt accelerate like it should wat do u think

I would replace the fuel filter, check the air filter also. The fuel filter is often overlooked. They should be changed every 20,000 miles or so.
