Question about 1999 Jeep Cherokee
My son drove the jeep without problems last friday. on saturday it started giving problems. cranks but motor doesn't turn over. by the way i had two keys cut from blanks and used them on the jeep could that have triggered the immobilizer? thanks
If your original key is grey and circular it has "SKIM". If it is a black triangle, then it doesn't. If the original key will not start the veh then is is likely not the security. Look at the fuel rail on top of the engine next to the valve cover. There is a shraeder valve (like a tire valve stem) a quick press on the valve should squirt a little fuel if the fuel pump is good.
