SOURCE: 2002 chevy blazer won't start when it is cold/damp

could be a defective distributor cap(crack in it allows moisture in...moisture displaces the spark from where it needs to go).
You could try to replace the distributor cap and rotor.

2000 chevy blazer is hard to start

The Owner's Manual tells you to NEVER 'pump' the gas pedal, but to s l o w l y ease it to about halfway. Remember its electronically fuel injected, Ace. Sometimes on a hot day it gets overloaded and needs more air.
The cold start sequence involves turning on the switch, then allowing the fuel pump to build up proper pressure.

2000 blazer having trouble cold starting in the morning. it's almost like it's not getting fuel to turn over...it feels like it wants to start but putter and turns off. mostly happens when the car is cold...

Have you the vehicle tuned up lately? Bad spark plugs will cause hard starting in cold weather also, the fuel filter could be plugged or it may have moisture in it. I guess, I would have those items checked and also, have the fuel pressure checked, the pump may be getting weak.

Timing could be the issue. Also the gasoline you use could cause dieseling.

98 chevy blaser is hard to start when is cold the fuel presure is fine

Check for the ground to the engine and to the body, chevys comes with a lot of grounds everywhere but the most for starting are the one on the engine and the one on the body, check for the correct gauge of the cables, fell the cables if they are warm whe you try to start, it supose to be a gauge bigger.
goodf luck.

2000 chevy blazer starting issues

swng,
1) Is the service engine soon light ever on when engine is running?
2) Per your description I would look at the ECT sending unit. It sends coolant temperature information the the Engine Control Module for proper fuel delivery for cold engine start. It may have lost its calibration.
Let me know.
