If the car dies after it runs for a minute then I would suspect either the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay. Turn the key on but not to run, you should hear the fuel pump for about 5 seconds, you could also check the fuel injector rail for fuel pressure, just put a rag over the shrader valve before depressing it, if the pump is making pressure it will squirt out. If still no luck pull the fuel pump relay and jumper the hot wires and listen for the pump.

Cranks over but will not start

When it cranks but won't start the problem is almost always spark or fuel. try using spray starting fluid into the air intake. If it catches even for a moment the spark is ok. concentrate on why there is no fuel. change fuel filter if it does not catch after several squirts of the starting fluid then there is no spark At this point I'd recommend letting a pro look at it.

1991 honda accord starts intermittently. When it doesn't the gas guage goes below E. Gets spark, no fuel. Already changed main relay.

Hey man if you already changed out the relay i would try changing your fuel pump and sending unit that should stop both of your problems.

I have a 1991 honda accord lx and one day while driving my RPM gauge started to move back and forth rapidly, it dropped down to zero and my car shut off. i changed the fuel filter and my car was driving...

a dirty or faulty MAF sensor can cause proplems like this. try cleaning it with CRC MAF cleaner you can get it at just about any autoparts store. the MAF is located on the air intake disconnect the electrical connection and remove the sensor be careful not to damage the fragile filaments inside. there is no need to wipe it just spray it clean and let air dry be sure to spray all parts plug, filaments everything

2002 honda accord car not starting or running rough when

Engine needs two things spark and fuel to run. both will cause problem your having. easiest thing to try is starting fluid spray into air intake to motor by opening air filter box. someone spray and someone start or run car - if performace changes possibly the fuel pump is going bad. If nothing improves you can look for spark problems which can be plugs or wires or ignition module(s)

1999 honda accord will attempt to start but will not .

When you say " attempt " to start do you mean it stutters then stops ? Take some carb cleaner and spray it into intake. If it runs on that, then it is most likely a fuel problem, pump, ect. Check for pressure at fuel rail, and change fuel filter if you have not. Which engine ?

Car starts, idles fine, s light on dash comes on, once you drive it it won't go over 20 mph and sputters

Sounds like you have a dirty Mass Air Flow sensor. It denses the intake air density and flow rate to regulated the available fuel. It is located in the intake duct or sir filter and can be cleaned, Use only CRC Electrical cleaner to waash off the sensor. Do not touch, rub, or brush. Spray was only and no compressed air. The spray dries quickly It's in one of the metal tube sections and the wires should give it away. Good Luck -Ned-

1991 Honda Accord cranks but will not start

I think you should check the air filter or air intake. It seems like it's not gettin and air to start since when you spray the starting fluid it's runs but stop and it stalls. I think that it's the air supply for the car.
