The window regulator is most likely your problem. Some have a plastic track that the teeth get chewed up and the gear can't drive it anymore. I believe the regulator comes as a unit, including the motor and all.

Power window won't go up

most common problem is the window regulator, they work by a cable and pully system. sometimes you may even hear a crunching sound.the motor will still work but the cables wont pull the window

Window went down, then quit working

try pulling up the window by hand
the window may have come off its tracks

if you cannot pull the window up because there is too much resistance to lift then you have to diagnose the motor

start with fuses and relays first

My LH rear window not going up just only down and i still can pull it up by my hand and again its going down if i hit the boottom

Mine did the same thing. I took the panel off and found that pieces of the regulator/pulley system were broke. I found out that you can't replace the part you replace the entire regulator!!! Apparently the motor's in the power windows is something that goes out on the 2003 JGC. It cost me $129 for the part and $77 in labor to get it fixed...

Rear drivers side window inoperable.

if you don't hear the motor it's probably got a short or bad switch. If the motor runs and the window doesn't move you have a damaged gear.

Driver side window will not go up. it will go down, but not up

It could be a couple of things. If the motor has a hard time lowering the window, then it could be the motor. If not, then I'd buy a replacement switch box. You can replace that fairly easily. If that doesn't work, it could be the motor, or the window regulator could be jammed. If the motor hums and tries to move when you press the up button, it could be the regulator( all that other junk in the door that controls the window). In that case, do NOT replace the switch, because the humming you hear means the motor is getting power, and the switch is fine. You could replace the switch or the motor, but I would suggest letting a professional fix the regulator.
