Checked fuses, changed relay in engine compartment fuse box.
Push button on dash works and lite comes on but no compressor.
Fan works fine.
I have not put gauges on it yet.
I don't know if it has a low pressure control.
I have not tried to hot wire the compressor to see if it works.

sounds as if the compressor isn't coming on, try for a blown fuse or faulty relay ,check fuse box under dash and in the engine compartment, the amount of coolant does'nt actually have anything to do with air conditioning , that has a gas , freon, in the a/c system ,get this checked at a a/c repairer , do not attempt to do any thing to the a/c system as gas escape can be lethal !
NEED TO KNOW IF IT IS A LS OR OTHER MODEL IF LS LOOK IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FUSE BOX SHOULD SAY HORN 15A PULL RELAY ALSO IN BOX USE TEST LITE 2 TERMINALS SHOULD BE HOT HAVE SOMEONE PUSH HORN BUTTON WHILE YOU HAVE FINGER ON RELAY TO SEE IF YOU CAN FEEL RELAY CLICK
C-19 Blower motor fuse 25A located in cabin fuse box. Left hand footwell on LHD vehicles, right hand dashboard on RHD vehicles. Start by checking blower relay B-36 in the engine compartment fuse and relay box. Remove the relay. Jumper directly from battery to pins 85 and 86. (also see here: http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5544622-wire_relay if you dont know about relays) The relay should click Now measure across pins 30 and 87. Measurement should be 0 ohm. Remove the blower motor(3 screws on the bottom of the unit under the passenger side dash) and connect jumper leads from the battery directly to the blower motor to see that it operates. The blower motor resister is mounted on the ducting between the motor housing and the heating unit. Remove to test Measure :
Generally the fuse panel will be located under the drivers side dash or a side panel access drivers side of the dash. Open the door of the vehicle and the end of the dash may or may not have an access. If those two locations are not the source of the fuse panel, the passenger side near the floor under the dash is most likely. There is a cover there (not part of the dash itself) but rather just in front of the door opening. Check these areas for the fuse blinkers. Fuse block for engine and such will only be in engine compartment.
There are three fuse blocks in most late model Cadillacs. The engine
compartment fuse block, the MaxiFuse relay center and the rear
compartment fuse block.
1991-93 Deville, are equipped with a fuse block located in the rear of the engine compartment. There is also a fuse/relay block, located in the glove box behind an access panel, or on the passenger side, under the dash.
There is no relay box on the Grand Am. There are three relay's in the engine compartment on the passenger side strut tower. The relays are A/C compressor, radiator fan relay both should be side by side and the third which should be closer to the front is the fuel pump relay.
Good luck and hope this helps. If it's the fuse box your looking for it's under the dash drivers side.
