Between 1,400 and 1,600 rpm but it should come right back down after initial start up unless it is winter time.

2006 nissan sentra does not start on first crank there is also a squeeling sound when it starts. Battery has been replaced twice in one year. Fuel pump has also been replaced.

Check the belt tension pully (how close are the two dot/mark)?

Change belt.

Check alternator for output 13.8V to 14.2V

Check for ripple alternating voltage from worn/old alternator.

Test for 0.1 volt ac at 1500 rpm

Any reading over 0.1 Volt ac is a fail alternator.
