If it has a mount it should line up the line unless the lines have been bent around out of place if it doesnt mount ,,,most of the lines if not all should be differnt sizes

How to reset the proportioning valve in brake master cylinder for 1989 Ford F150?

to reset the proportioning valve try bleeding the master by applying pressure and slowly opening one line at the master until the valve centres. you may have to do the same with the other line to get it to centre, sometimes you have to hit the area where the valve is as it may be stuck to get it to move.

Location of back brake master cylinder on a 1985 Yamaha venture totaled 1200

can't find a diagram, I believe it is on the right side rear, there should be cover there, it is attached to the proportioning valve as I recall. hope that helps. Follow the front brake line back and you will find the Proportioning valve and you will find the other cylinder.

Not getting break fluid to the back lines

Hmm, well you're not telling us much like the make model year? Anyway to take a stab at it you may have a bad master brake cylinder or even a bad proportioning valve. Check to see if you have pressure at the proportioning valve. If so then the master cylinder is fine and your proportioning valve needs to be replaced. But if there isn't any pressure there then of course it's your master cylinder. But again since I don't know anything about your vehicle I'm assuming it's an older one with a standard type of braking system. As you get newer then you get into much more things that could go wrong.

I need a break line diagram for 1995 ford countur

It doesn't connect to master cylinder. The line should connect to a proportioning valve, then from valve to master cylinder.Star at master cylinder and follow lines to proportioning valve.

There is an aftermarket available for $40-160. If you were to take it to a local shop instead of the dealer you could probably save alot of money.

1998 bravada brake problem

If you have not replaced any brake lines or brake calipers, then It sounds like that the brake proportioning valve or the brake master cylinder if defective. If the the brake pedal goes to the floor, the master cylinder is at fault. If not, the proportion valve, which is part of the ABS valve body is defective. Have your local garage check these two components for possible problems.
