Jack up and support car in the front with jack stands. Then use the trolley jack with a two by four to support the motor under the oil pan jack up the engine only about an inch after loosening mount bolts or enough to attain enough clearance to remove old mount, but not too high, you may want o remove the other mounts located (if any on the top side of motor) referring to a haynes repair manual is always a good idea certain precautions may be neccessary.

Iam no mech but is it hard 2 change the motor n transmission mounts in a 96 ford thunderbird 3.8 engine if it is whats the going price 2 do so i dont get taken

It is fairly easy to do if you have a lift, but it is possible to do on the ground with a jack and jack stands. You will need to be able to unbolt both sides of the mount and support the engine with the jack while you replace the mounts. If you download the autozone app to a smart pone or tablet it will give you a repair estimate calculator,

Do i have to remove the motor to replace the motor mounts?

Motor mount issues generally don't cause shaking. It would be best if you check the motor for misfire, timing issues etc.

Change motor mount on a 04 mazda 6

FIRST YOU'LL NEED TO SUPPRT THE MOTOR WITH A JACK! UNBOLT THE MOUNT FROM MOTOR, JACK THE MOTOR UP TO CLEAR MOTOR MOUNT, AND UNBOLT IT FROM THE FRAME! REPLACE IT, BOLT THE MOUNT TO THE FRAME FIRST, THEN LOWER THE MOTOR BACK INTO THE MOUNT, AND REBOLT THE MOTOR!

When iput my car in gear i can fell the motor raise up with a thump noise also fan belt makes a winning sound

The Motor raising up issue is, you may have a worn or broken Engine or Transmission Mount, inspect the mounts by having someone or you, look at the mounts while someone else puts the car in gear. If you see the mounts move excessively, than the mounts need to be replaced. The whining or squealing Fan Belt may be a worn, glazed or loose belt. I would inspect the belt and tighten or replace as needed.

94 saab v6 serp belt replacement. does motor mount

Yes, the motor mount must come off to replace the serpentine belt on the 3.0 6 cylinder motors. Not as daunting a task as it may seem, just requires a jack and block of wood under the oil pan to support the motor.

Motor mount replacement at 93000

Your best bet would be to pick up a Chilton manual from autozone. It will give you step by step instructions on how to do all kinds of things with your vehicle, including the motor mounts.

Replace the engine motor mounts and the transmission mount. Would like to know how to do it. Thanks.

Check the frame mounts too. You will have to loosen the bolts and jack the motor up with a jack and a woodblock.
