You will have to remove the dash and the heat/air box to get to the evaporator core. Not a job for the un-experienced.

26 is a quad driver failure, 41 is a cam sensor failure. I can give you a test procedure for 26 but for 41 you likely need to replace the magnet that is in the cam gear for the cam sensor pick-up.

SOURCE: 1994 buick lesabre heater core removal

The heater core is located under the dash, in the center. The container holding the core looks like a black plastic box. Remove the ash tray for easier access. You may have to also remove some other covers under the dash. You must first drain the radiator then you have to disconnect the hoses. There are two hoses connected to nipples of the heater core that go thru the center of the firewall. Remove the screws that hold on the cover to the heater core. Then you should be able to get the old one out. There might be a couple of other minor steps but I'm sure you can figure them out. For re-installation just go in reverse order to put it all back together.

1989 Buick LeSabre the windshield wipers will not turn off. How do I get them to turn off please.

You should have a wiper fuse in the interior fuse box that you can pull to temporarily turn the wipers off. I suspect that the issue is due to a bad wiper switch which will need to be replaced.

Location of oriface tube

It is located in the inlet tube to the AC evaporator core, the tube in deep inside that inlet, the small AC hose (called the liquid line) from the compreessor is what is connected to that inlet tube of the evaporator core, the evaporator core is what cools the air

My signal lights on my 1989 buick lesabre has

It's the same bulbs I believe, so look for the flasher module, the most likely suspect. It should be a round metal or plastic can, pretty accessible under the driver's side dash.

They use a different flasher module for the emergency lights because it's turning on and off more bulbs.

Air won't switch to defrost vents

This system works with vacuum control doors. If you have a vacuum hose off under your hood it will cause this problem. Look on the passenger side near the evaporator - there should be a little round plastic bulb looking device - make sure it has vacuum to it. Also, check for other vacuum leaks in that area.
