Question about 1998 Ford Expedition
I change a few of the brake lines on a 1998 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer and have tried for hours to bleed the lines with no luck. I just keep getting air and the pedal goes right to the floor I have checked to make sure all connections are secure and no more leaks and everything looks fine. Could there be a problem with the master cylinder or is there a special way to do them with ABS? Anything to help would be great!
The brake system on these units cant be bled at home if air gets into themaster cylinder and or the (hcu) hydraulic control unit,a special anti-lock brake test adapter has to be pluged into the control module, any atempt to bleed the system with out this tool wiil result in a spongy pedal
