Inside the fuse panel on the driver side is the reset button for the oil light. Read in your manual about how to reset the light

This may sound strange, but it works, turn on ignation switch, but do not start car, pless gas pedel to the floor 3 times quickly, oil light shoud reset

Hello - I have a 2003 Grand Am GT and to reset my "Change Oil" light, I turn the ignition key to the on position (without starting the car) and fully press the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. The "Change Oil" light will flash a few times then turn off.

Hello tiffinkie: My name is Roger an I will help you. First open the passenger door and locate the fuse panel located in the end of the dash cover. Remove the cover turn the key on. Do not start the motor. Push the reset button located at the top of the instrument fuse panel.The CHANGE OIL light will start to flash.Press and hold the RESET button again. The reset is complete when you hear the chimes sound and the CHANGE OIL light goes out. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate your answer. This way I know it was helpful.
