Loud speaker static when the car is off. It drained that battery. I tried pulling the radio fuse but it was still making the noise. I had to disconnect the battery to get it to stop. Any ideas?

I GUESS that the speakers are driven by an after market amplifier. An amplifier needs to be connected to a power source that is only on when the radio is on, through a relay.

So I GUESS that:
  1. The wiring is incorrect. Or
  2. If is has a relay, the relay is stuck.

As a short term solution you can disconnect the horn. This will stop the noise and leave your other systems intact. Locate the horn under the hood and find the attached wire and disconnect it. If you have trouble locating the horn have someone beep it for you a follow the sound to it's source.

You have a leak in the vacuum system somewhere. If your brakes are soft or squishy or don't engage until the pedal is almost to the floor, then it is your master cylinder. If not, then you have to hunt it down but if it is that loud that shouldn't be a problem. Just follow the sound until you find where it is coming from (may want to wear hearing protection). If a hose is disconnected, plug it in and see if that fixes it. Does your car have any idle problems?

Horn blows repeatedly and highlights flash repeatedly for no reason.

try your remote batteries i would remove them from both remotes then reattach the batt cable if this dosen't work could be a bad alarm controller fan relay has nothing to do with it you need a new radiator fan thermo switch located on the radiator

Car makes loud noise on passenger side near head light.

sounds like the blower fan. what type of chevy is it. a full size has the fan on the passenger side firewall. should be easily accessible. just disconnect the wire and test the car. if it stops making noise , that is the problem, also turn on the fan speeds to different settings, if if changes sound , that is the problem
