2008 dodge ram downshifts hard when slowing down

I have a 1998 ram 1500. And sometines especially when its hot outside mine down shifts hard as I'm slowing down. And the gas pedal feels stiff. I press the gas down real fast and it unsticks but then when I come to the next light it does it again. If it's cold out dose it doesn't do it as much if at all. I heard it could be a throttle body sensor. Any advise?

Inspite of changing new brake pads and the rotor of front and rear of the brake paddle gets harder and brake gets failed.please give me the solution or sujjestion

really dont understand what your saying but, i would look into the master cylinder as a failed diaphram vacuum. If your break pedal is real hard to push and you really dont have alot of beaking it is the master cylinder

Having trouble with the brakes on my '90 Ford ranger. Replaced the master cylinder and still have very little braking power. Any help would be appreciated!

***Seek out professional help this vehicle is not safe to operate.***

Check the vacuum line going to the brake booster.

This is the big round chamber behind the master cylinder.

Hope this tip helps.

The key and tumbler is bad. If rocking the steering wheel did not work the tumbler is the problem. Which brake foot or parking brake is stiff ? How do you mean stiff ? Is it hard , or hard to push?

How to replace the brake light switch on a 1998 gmc sierra truck

Brake light switch is active by the brake paddle.

Before you start, take a picture or do a sketch of the spring or linkage around the brake paddle.

Move the seat back will give you better access.

Press the paddle and the inner side (closer to the firewall) of the paddle will activate the switch.

Please keep in mind there are fuse(s) to protect the lighting circuit.

Check all the fuses before you R&R the brake switch,
