Question about 1988 Jeep Cherokee
I have had the car for two years with no problems, until one day my driver side door started having problems closing all the way. Sometimes I would have to lock and unlock the door from the inside to even open it. As if the unlock side of the switch would not go down all of the way.
I sprayed WD40 into the door lock, closed the door, and now it seems to be locked permanently.
I tore the paneling off, and all of the internal lock mechanisms, seem to be working, but the door will not open.
I really need some help, because it is only a matter of time till my co-workers see me climbing through the passenger door in the morning. Anybody have the Jaws of Life?
You probally have a bent rod in your door causing it to bind up would recomend to pull inner dor panel apart and inspect linkages
