Check All your Fusible Links they are orange. That sounds like a direct short to ground. It take a lot power to burn down a Fusible. I had this problem in a 1986 Camaro a wire shorted and burned 3/4 Fusible links. We had no lights, starter, or radio. We had the inside light work. I have a video on youtube called how to fix fusible links after the blow. You will need to find the short before you replace the bad fusible. Go to junk yard and pull Fusible Links them any GM trucks after 88-1995 C/K.

It sounds like you either have a bad solenoid, starter, or either a blown fusible link at the starter.

I HAVE A 1988 HONDA ACCORD DX,WHEN I TRIED STARTING IT EVERY THING WENT OUT

If there is no power presently, most likely it blew the fusible link, Honda's have a fusible link just off the battery and is located usually along the inside of the passenger fender follow the wire from the battery and you will find it, most likely that is the culprit, good luck.

I have full battery power but no power to my dash ignition lights when i turn key put have head lights and horn. on my 2008 chevy cobalt

Some cars have inline fuses in the battery cables and have multiple connections for components making one get power and others not. If all your fuses are good, the next thing to look at is the electrical part of the key switch. Usually there is the mechanical part with the tumbler, and the electrical part.

How can i check to see if i am getting power tofuel pump relay in my 88 k5 Blazer

With a test light or voltmeter. One terminal at the relay would be hot at all times, if I am not mistaken. Or it might need key on to check for power. When key is turned on, there should also be a brief (2 seconds) signal at relay from computer to turn pump on and prime the system, but that signal will stop , and the power feed at relay would still be on.

1999 Crown turned ignition switch to start - heard pop - no electrical power

If nothing works including the lights, something happened between the battery and the fuse box.
There are some fuseable links between the battery and the starter solenoid or between the solenoid and the fuse box.
I'd start with the battery cables and look for those fuseable link wires.

My 87 k5 blazer headlights don't turn on when the car is started and running any more... all 4 headlights turn on fine when I pull the lever all the way out for high beams

The vehicle should not have to be running for head lights to burn.If high beams work, then the low beam head lights could be burned out, even though they light up with high beams. The dimmer switch, can be the problem if the head lights only work on high beam.

Have a 1985 chevy blazer k5, and all of a sudden it wont start... no spark!!! replaced ignition module and coil, but still same problem......somebody help please!

Check the ignition switch located under the dash on the steering column. Check to see if you hear an electric switch go on when you first turn the key on.
