Question about 2002 Honda Passport

1 Answer

2002 Honda Passport just stopped

It just stopped and brakes, water and battery lights went on simultaneously. It happened to me before last summer. I had it checked before because there is a check engine light. After the autozone guy scanned it, the check engine light went off with the following codes: BBSecondary HO2S?? circuit low voltage. Probable cause: BB1 - Poor electrical connection BB2 - Air leak near HO2S BB3 - Lean A/F/ratio BB4- Faulty HO2S. Thanks. By the way, it started running again after stepping on the gas several times until the RPM start working again.

2006 Kia Rio will not turn over

the timing belt will not have anything to do with the motor turning over trying to start. First make sure u do have a very strong battery. Could be a bad connection or a broken wire to starter also.

2004 Pontiac Montana Brake Lights, Pwr Window and Cruise all Quit

The same thing happened to my 2002 Montana minus the power window problem.

The brake lights and the cruise control are somehow tied in together.

I went to the scrapyard and ripped off a couple circuit boards from an old Lumina ($25 for the set) since there were no Montanas on site.

The problem seems to be when one brakelight goes the bulk of the current transfers to the other light and will blow it too.

Anyways you said you tried replacing the circuit boards and it did not work so sorry I could not be of more help.

Emergency brake light

This light is an indicator that you have a problem with your braking system. It is not only an emergency brake indicator. The first thing that you should look into is whether you have a low level of brake fluid.

Be careful to not get ANY dirt into the reservoir if you open the lid. If you need to add fluid, please read your owners manual for the right type for your vehicle. Always use new, unopened fluid. Brake fluid absorbs water when exposed to the atmosphere.

Please be aware that a fluid loss could indicate a problem in your brake system, and you should try to determine what is causing the loss.
