Sound like your fuel pump is loosing prime. May look into replacement.

Testimonial: "NO BUT THANK YOU REPLACED FUEL PUMP AND PUMP MODULE LAST WEEK NO DIFFERENCE"

Have you thought about the MAF sensor? Next time the truck will not start remove the plug to MAF sensor. Do not spray ether. Try and crank with the sensor disconnected. See if there is any difference. The ether may not be so much as starting engine but cleaning/showing air movement on the MAF sensor. Other possibilities include fuel filter ( though this should have been changed when pump was done), try cleaning throttle position sensor (TPS). Just a couple more ideas.

SOURCE: truck starts, dies. truck runs good some days, bad the next

I had the same problem with My 1990 F150 300 6cylinder 4x4.....I cahnged all the same things you did, finally I sprayed a can of Gumout through the throttle body and it worked and ran great. Now I add fuel injector cleaner to the gas and a regular clean with the gumout and the problem has'nt come back. Good Luck to you and hope it works!

SOURCE: truck stalls while driving, will start again if wait ten minutes

Ok, this sounds like a weak fuel pump and clogged filter. if possible, you will need to change these two vital devices. I would also replace the air filter as well.

Inspect the injection system for faults as well. make sure all injectors are firing properly and on time. replace any injector that isn't functioning correctly.

I have a 2003 Chevrolet suburban when I start it up the transmission shifts smoothly but once I drive about 50 miles or more the tranny starts to slip please help

If the vehicle has more than 90,000 miles on it the transmission should be rebuilt. Chevy used the 4l60E transmission in Suburbans and it is not quite strong enough.A good rebuild will change all clutchs and plates along with the sun gear and cage. Also all electronic modules.I had mine rebuilt at 125,000 and afterwards pu an additional 200,000 on it without any slippage.

2007 Ford Escape Hybrid Clatter Noise

So being it doesn't clatter in electric mode, a safe assumption is the noise is with the gas motor.

Usually a clattering noise is valvetrain noise, like a lifter not pumping up.

Low oil will cause this.

3 quarts low would probably definitely cause this!

You need to find out why you lost 3 quarts in only 80 miles!

Seems to be slipping in the transmission

if it is slipping then you will need to have the transmission overhauled, once they start to slip it is the end, the forward clutchs are worn out or u have a hydraulic pressure leak inside the transmission, this burns out the clutch quickly, this kind of failure is common around 100-125,000 miles, sooner if the trans has not been serviced every 60,000 miles, this would be a fluid and filter change

Engine starts but wont stay running, 1998 ford 5.4 litre 125,000 miles. will run with foot on gas (wont idle)

Replace the throttle position sensor, this sensor controls idle speed and is most likely faulty.

I have a ford f350 with 247,000 miles, heater stopped working... where do i start?

First check would be the blower fuse and relay. Next would be a check of the motor itself by applying power directly to the motor connection. Check the condition of the motor ground connection. If the motor doesn't run, it needs to be changed out.

I just purchased a 1994 ford ranger with 125,000 miles and runs great until last night when i had to engage the four wheel drive. It made a bad clunk and whining noise for some time and now i can hit the...

It sounds like the electric motor for the 4 wheel drive may not be engaging. It could also be the magnetic clutch for the 4 wheel drive may not be working. This sounds like an electrical problem.
